[Kde-hardware-devel] Who is coming to BDS?

Hi there Metalworkers!

A few days ago at Randa Platform 11 a few Metalworkers sit down and spent some 
time thinking about the BDS and the next Solid Sprint. This email is about the 
first :p

For those who don't know, a Dekstop Summit is kind of a merge between Akademy 
and Guadec giving us the oportunity to improve our relationship with GNOME and 
subsystem developers (Kernel, UPower, UDisks, BlueZ, NetworkManager...)

I'd like to make that our first goal for this event, the only way we've to 
catch up on Hardware support is by working side by side with the rest of the 
ecosystem, for example two discussions I'd like to see on BDS are:

-What is the NetworkManager roadmap? Will the API freeze at any point?
-GNOME and KDE are duplicating the code to manage the Brightness, can we put 
it in UPower or in UBrightness for that matter?

Finally, apart from replying to this thread, can check and edit this wiki 
page?
