There is a list of porting status for all the KDE Games on
https://techbase.kde.org/Projects/Games/kdegame_apps_porting_kf5_status

You should look at games that are fully ported, pick a game you like, check
what bug reports it has, then try and fix a bug.  When you have a patch, please
submit it to the KDE Games group via KDE ReviewBoard.

When you have chosen a task, please let us know what you will be working on.

That is why you should start with something small, like fixing a bug.  Using
ReviewBoard also helps us to find out how capable you are and what help
you may need.

I won't be able to help you with anything related to Frameworks/KF5.  I am
struggling with that myself.  It will not build on my Apple OS X setup, so I
cannot use it for any coding work yet.
