It gets harder when you have a lot of events for the same planet.
Simply grouping all the messages in one (potentially huge) dialog would ease the 
pain without having that issue.

When the public demands a popup between each turn, I think it's just needed as a 
notification between each turn. Maybe this should better be included in a future 
massive overhaul of Konquest user interface.

I just had a game with your patch and it makes it harder to find out what 
changed between each turns. On tiny maps, it's doable, on bigger maps, you have 
to focus closely to understand what happened. It could cost you a planet because 
you did not see it was being attacked that much for instance…
