I found something better in  playground/kooka/kooka-postprocess.sh:

use git-filter-branch
replace with CVS2SVN <cvs2svn at kde.org>

too bad such code is not reused. All those conversions are
handled a bit like throw-away-source.

I will put this one into filter-goodies.
