Well, you are rather off topic but I am not going to split hairs.
The author and maintainer of Palapeli is, as always, Stefan
Majewsky.  I do not think anyone else can help you.

Last heard of was a week ago when he said he was going on
vacation.  He did not say whether that was just for the Easter
period or longer.  Perhaps he is on some Internet-less peak
in the Alps and will return refreshed … :-)

When he does, I will be first in line to ask him questions, re GSoC … :-)
The ideas for our GSoC projects were originally his.
