I was using a webmail client that prefers HTML. The interesting thing
is that it normally displays plain text mails in a variable width
font, but your messages were explicitly requesting the Monospace font,
so your HTML messages ended up looking much "plainer" than the plain
text ones. But of course to someone who uses a fixed width font for
plain text messages, your mails probably could have passed for plain
text.

I've noticed a couple other KDE devs sending similarly formatted
emails, so it may indeed by a KMail issue.
