Oops! I read the code, but did not play the game! And I completely
misunderstood some of the code ... :-( Mouse mode is definitely better
than K/B in KBreakout, I would say, because the paddle moves with the
mouse, at the speed of your hand. Even if the paddle went faster in K/B
mode, it might be difficult to stop it with the required precision.
Otherwise, I noticed some intermittent slow patches in the animation of
balls and gifts (symptoms of missed QTimer signals, probably), but they
do not seem to affect gameplay much.
So I think I might give KBreakout issues a miss for now. I do not really
aspire to making KGrTimer into a library class and I am thinking about
other programming (and non-programming) plans at the moment.
