Afaik there are three valid reasons to break the string freeze:
1. fix untranslatable messages, but please cc kde-i18n-doc at kde.org list in the
commit
2. potential data loss caused by wrong/misleading strings, but please discuss
and explain this on the translators list to find a proper solution (maybe its
possible to reuse an existing translation)
3. approval from kde-i18n-doc at kde.org
