My $0.03: don't use KGameCanvas. Use QGraphicsView. KGameCanvas was created
when QGraphicsView wasn't quite mature. It's still here because of
compatibility issues. QGraphicsView has matured a lot since early days of Qt4
and is a better choice for you.
