Yep, it does. It's one of the main features of the playground version
actually.
(Well actually the main feature is a nicer design for writing AI players, but
network support is a side effect from that)

From how I understand ggz it is. It's pretty much a matter of making
KMessageServer ggz aware if I recall correctly.
I had a look at this a (long) while ago, but didn't really understand the ggz
way of doing things (which differed from the Qt way quite a lot). But that
was a long while ago of course, and I didn't try too hard.
But it still is on my list, so "one day" I'd like to do that. But since I
doubt I'll find the time to do that somewhen soon - everyone is of course
free to do so!

btw: at http://boson.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/boson/trunk/code/server/ you
can find a small KMessageServer based server for the boson game (KDE3 based).
It may be useful to show usage of KMessageServer without an actual KGame
instance in the same process.

About Texas Hold'em support: well, I am not a poker expert at all, I don't
even like poker very much (I was and am working on KPoker more because of
technical interests), so a few descriptions of the rules may be helpful to
me...
