I'm glad that you like it. I hope it's fast enough now for most computers. If 
not, there are a few tweaks that can still be implemented.

I discovered QTimeLine comes really handy for this kind of things.
At the moment, the effects are started when the hero dies and when a level is 
loaded. I did that mainly to test that things worked, and I'm surprised there 
are no big problems with syncronization.

That would work too, and it's easier to implement.
