Note to self: just pick a date next time and be done with it :)
Of course, some people can not attend Friday, while others can not be
present on Monday. However, there are only two that emailed me about not
being able to attend on Friday, while more people said they would not be
able on Monday.
So, I think we should do a meeting this Friday first. And I volunteer
(and invite all that could) to meet again on Monday, so everyone would
be able to have his/her suggestions about what is still needed for KDE
4.0 collected.
Agenda:
-Detailed list of remaining tasks for KDE 4.0
-For each game
-Including docs/code/art issues
-Evaluation of current state of all apps
If we think something would not be ready and at least 90% ok, my
suggestion is to postpone the game/task to 4.1. It would be helpful if
people could examine these issues (at least on their own games) before
the meeting, so we could be more objective.
Afterwards, we could setup a wiki page and a mailing list thread to list
and tackle these issues, to guarantee we would be in the best possible
shape for 4.0.
Agreed? So, in short:
Meeting 1 - August 31, 20:00PM UTC
Meeting 2 - September 3, 20:00PM UTC
I would also volunteer to do yet another quick meeting (on September 4)
on a different time, if Ian or other developer that can usually not
attend due to our time confirms presence. But we can also get more input
via the mailing list thread, so this might not be needed.
Meeting will be as always in IRC channel #kdegames, Freenode.
Regards,
Mauricio Piacentini
