It can be handled like this:
Case-insensitive comparison, but case-sensitive storage. So that Foo Bar gets 
preserved but foo bar cannot register anymore afterwards.
This would seem better because changing the case is an unwanted side effect, 
imagine l33t player nicks who are then angry about seeing the case being 
changed...
