One problem Graham is possibly referring to comes from ports
0445d5b584f170f775369f59a7e7a5defc307add:

- COMMENT says "Plasma Desktop and KDE Applications" but the RUN_DEPENDS is
only on kde-baseapps, because plasma6-plasma was removed from the dependencies.
- default options for x11/plasma6-plasma include the QT5 option (which is why
it was removed from the dependencies of x11/kde).

I think what Graham wants is to add the Qt6-based parts of KDE Plasma 6 (e.g.
USE_KDE=${_USE_PLASMA_ALL:Nplasma-pa...}) back to the dependencies of x11/kde,
so that installing "kde" gets you a working KDE Plasma desktop and some KDE
applications (without Qt5).

Would that still fit on the install-media?
