More specifically: if I prefer to turn off the screen after one minute,
when the screen is locked, then the screen goes to blackness immediately
(not after one minute) and the wallpaper does not appear until it's time
to unlock. Then if I do nothing, the wallpaper persists for a minute
before blackness recurs.
Not reproducible with Kubuntu 25.10 on real hardware. A moment of
blackness is followed by appearance of the wallpaper, and then the
wallpaper persists for a minute before blackness recurs.
With an assumption that it's fixed upstream: I'll not make a separate
report in Bugzilla for FreeBSD.
