Adding "--verbose" to CONFIGURE_ARGS is preferable as I alluded to in comment
#1. It prints out a useful summary, passes -DCMAKE_VERBOSE_MAKEFILE=1 once the
bootstrapping is complete, and avoids numerous spammy 'Dependencies file "foo"
is newer than depends file "bar"' lines.
