[kde-freebsd] [SOLVED] sound distorted with phonon-gstreamer

Hi,

If you have experienced sound distortion when using phonon-gstreamer try the 
following (which fixed the problem for me):
# pkg delete -fy gstreamer-plugins-pulse gstreamer-plugins-esound

The issue is with either PulseAudio or ESD.
