Hm? What new feature should I request? "Hi, I need a new feature that makes
an existing feature work correctly.."

The problem is not that I am asking for something that KDE doesnt already do
on other platforms. This is something that is already supposed work, and
does, on other platforms.

Other "prompt for authentication" stuff was also broken under 4.6.5, but most
of them are now corrected in the latest release, 4.7.2, except the mounting of
internal media, which now complains "An error occurred while accessing '20.0
GiB Hard Drive', the system responded:
org.freedesktop.Hal.Device.PermissionDeniedByPolicy:
org.freedesktop.hal.storage.mount-fixed no <-- (action, result)"

Prior to 4.7.2, the last part would say "admin-auth <-- (action, result)"

Also, in 4.7.2 - I can no longer find that policy to change it, so now there is
no apparent workaround, other than simply mounting the partition/slice by
hand.

I installed the polkit KCM from this location:
https://projects.kde.org/projects/extragear/base/polkit-kde-
kcmodules-1/repository

To try and see if i could change the mount-fixed option, but it doesn't appear
to exist..
