The collective "we" maintain the patches. I recently regisitered an account on 
gitorious, now I just have to overcome my gitphobia and try wade into this 
arena.

That said, if there are smarter gits than me (read: most anybody else) who 
would like to undertake this venture, we would love to hear from you.
