[kde-freebsd] Question about DRM/DRI/X-Performance in general

Hello list,

I use KDE 3.5.4 and X.Org 6.9. I've enabled DRI and the transparancies 
are working but slow. Who would be the right person to ask about 
troubleshooting?
The FreeBSD-Core-Team, because they program DRM?
The X.Org-Programmer because they program DRI and the graphics-driver?
Or KDE because they use shadows, transparencies and so on?
