OK the bug wasn't that storedPut can't handle qrc files (so there's nothing to fix in the underlying layer), the bug was just that this QFile doesn't live long enough for the job execution.

But yes, in fact this patch is the simplest fix for it. I'll push it together with the unittest addition I made for it.
