in addition to the one you noted, there were calls in Solid at some point that 
were blocking, and also in libkworkspace there is a bit of a mess around sync 
calls for pulling up the shutdown/reboot/logout confirmation dialog (not a 
kdelibs library, granted, but that particular code used to be in KApplication 
in KDE 3 times)
