Hi,

I would like to know about the status of kchat. It was added to the KDE Ext=
ra=20
Gear (after beeing in kdenetwork I think), but the maintainer (Emanuel=20
Schmieg) is not reachable via email any more.
Does someone know his valid email address or does someone else maintain kch=
at=20
now?=20
Please note that the Extra Gear policy demands that all applications in it =
are=20
maintained, otherwise they will be removed.
The general KDE CVS policy additionally demands that the app is developed i=
n=20
KDE CVS, and not just "mirrored". This means that you need to decide wether=
=20
you have your app in sourceforge CVS or in KDE CVS.
