ICA client is latest version 9.0, but the problems also occur

is Debian i386 sarge (3.1) except X which is taken from backports.org
and using Xorg 6.8.2.  It doesn't matter what application -
the same with word, excel, powerpoint, internet explorer,
as long as it is seamless.

that's interesting, have to check for the server version.
But please note that the problems go away if we use
metacity instead of kwin, and there haven't been these
problems with kde 2.1.2.  I get the impression that
it's related to kwin, but you say you don't have these
problems, then it may be related to X?
