Electrical circuit simulator (idea for gsoc 2015)

Hello all,
I wanted to work on an application for electrical circuit simulation (like
"step(Interactive Physics Simulator)" ). I am an electrical engineering
student so, I have good knowledge of many circuit components(both analog
and digital).
I need a mentor to guide me for this idea.Hope you like this idea and give
me an opportunity to work on it.
