Hi
Considering that the idea is coming from an actual teacher, I don't
really have much of an opinion. I'd suggest you to follow their needs
in form of a fast proof of concept, then we can discuss what to do
with the project(s).

Maybe it's a good opportunity for the Summer of KDE people who don't
have a project yet?
