Hi,
I still don't think that more directory-watching is the way to go. It sounds 
like an aweful hack that could lead to some unforeseeable bugs and weird 
behaviour, while only giving a small new feature. I'm not really familiar with 
how the web-frontend behaves or how it is implemented there.
Martin said he is working on implementing a different solution, so let's see 
how that works out.
