 Then I have good news for you. I already fixed a bug which caused a 
 wrong scaling for included objects (graphs, meters, controls). So I 
 would expect that this problem should not occur in the trunk version 
 anymore. Could you maybe confirm this? You wouldn't even need a full 
 kde-edu build for that, since step now builds standalone.

 There are some possible hangs when Step calculates constraints I know 
 about. But before I can work on these I need to work myself through the 
 simulation code a little more. I hadn't had time for that but it's also 
 on my Todo list.
