Exactly, teachers are bogged down by technicalities, that is why, I have
kept the PlasmED Remote Control Application's GUI as simple as possible in
the applicaiton's mockup. Even drag and drop can be used to move
applications into an activity and to edit an activity.

I couldn't find anything on KEduca also, it was written somewhere that it
was not ported to KDE4, some people tried to bring it to KDE 4, but they
left it midway again, so currently it is abandoned.

First we must focus on providing an education conducive environment and then
maybe we can have pluggable applications for exams and other such
functionality.
So After this GSoC finishes, I will find time and write a separate
application in QML that will offer functionalities like:
1) Interactive Exam Generation using simple intuitive interface.
2) Assignment delivery to the entire lan, and collection of solutions from
the children's desktops.
3) Report Card Email facility to the parents etc..
