I think that this software must be complete, so that every important thing (both teaching and examining) can be done directly from the desktop: I don't know how the situation is in other coutries, but in mine the 80% of teachers does not want to use a computer because they says "It's too difficult" (the funny thing is that many times the teacher asks help to the students to use some software). </p>

</blockquote><div><br>I couldn't find anything on KEduca also, it was written somewhere that it was not ported to KDE4, some people tried to bring it to KDE 4, but they left it midway again, so currently it is abandoned. <br>

<p>I think we shouldn't mix stuff that much.
<br>In my opinion plasma classroom has to be a shell, something that lets you select what do you want to work on. We have applications for exams.
<br></p></blockquote></blockquote><div>After thinking hard, I think it is best to be incremental in our approach. First we must focus on providing an education conducive environment and then maybe we can have pluggable applications for exams and other such functionality.<br>
<br>So After this GSoC finishes, I will find time and write a separate application in QML that will offer functionalities like:<br>1) Interactive Exam Generation using simple intuitive interface.<br>2) Assignment delivery to the entire lan, and collection of solutions from the children's desktops.<br>
