Just for your information:

We, the KOffice hackers will make our library for creating OpenDocument files 
available for all other KDE hackers from KDE 4.1.  In this case, you will 
want to create an ODG, OpenDocument Graphic file.

I know this won't be of any help to you right now, but I thought that I'd at 
least let you know.
