Howdy All,
As of midnight tonight (24 Oct your timezone), we are now in a "Tagging
Freeze".
This means that we only want commits of the following types for the next day
or two:
- compile fixes
- reviewed critical bugs fixes
- changes to fix things for tagging and creating tarballs (release team)
You can commit compile fixes as necessary, but bug fixes should be reviewed
and
approved by an appropriate mailing list or by your module's release dude.
We are attempting to create a KDE Development Platform Release Candidate *and*
the next full blown KDE Beta, so the tagging process may take longer than
normal;
especially since we've never done a Development Platform before.
Patience. We'll let you know when the tagging freeze is over.
Regards,
Allen, KDEPIM Release Wrangler
