Hi,

I am not sure what you are referring to as I lost the start of the thread but 
there is already Algebra included in KDE-Edu for KDE 4 so you might want to 
help that.

You need a KDE 4 environment to try it. There is a lot to do in it and it 
would be better to considere plugins to it if you want to start the PyKDE way 
for example than to start a new effort.
