[kde-edu]: Worksheet generation for teacher

Morning

As you mentioned in one of the akademy summaries [1] there are no apps for
teacher in kdeedu ATM.

I have got a suggestion:
A worksheet generation.

It's somehow conflicting because it finally would generate or print worksheets
in paper and would therefore "leave" the computer but it's obvious that
worksheets are still a dominant part in school.

Years ago I tried to write such a program myself in C++ (and Java). The
program generated LaTeX files which were converted into ps files and then
printed. The only option was a simple multiplication-table worksheet but I
think of other operations (+, -, /, *) in different number ranges. Perhaps
even an option to integrate a funny pictures on the sheet ;-).

But this is only a suggestion. I have some other ideas (not only for programs)
but these are for the time after my exams at the end of October.

BTW: I'm a student of pedagogy and education and before my university study I
fininshed schooling as a primary teacher. My exams are partially about ICT in
school, teaching and education and I hope to bring free education software to
research but these are things for November. ... And irregularly I wrote a
column about free software in education [2] which I hope to revive after the
exams as well.

anyway thx a lot for your works which I used recently when I changed the whole
ICT infrastructure in our local primary school to KDE/GNU/Linux.
Mario
