Still uses a QHeader just like a listview.

Well, generally I agree with you, but sorting a list by clicking on the column
header is something that works the same across KDE. You don't have menu /
toolbar items for that in Konqueror, KMail, KAddressBook, KOrganizer...
For the column renaming that I would leave in the menu, but not in the
toolbar.

Well, but I didn't feel the need to start looking at places to trim things
down since there are only 8 buttons.
KWordQuiz by contrast has 35. From what I can see that puts it in the top 5
KDE applications for most number of toolbar buttons (including KOffice) --
despite being a "simple" app. The only apps I've been able to find with more
are KDevelop, KPresenter and KSpread...

I skipped them because I had no idea what they do. ;-)

So does a group of buttons. How often have you thought that you would be
given a chance to select "Yes", "No" and "Cancel"? ;-)

I mean, if 10 years from now, when you are doing something quick and dirty,
you suddenly visualize that I am looking over your shoulders and say to
yourself, "Dijkstra would not have liked this", well that would be enough
immortality for me.
