Hi,

Can you test if the problem occurs in KDE only? I mean, may it happen that this
is a general OS or hardware problem?

If it is possible, please temporarily install some other lightweight DE on the
other toolkit (e.g. LXDE) to test and choose it when booting your system.

It would be also helpful if you can report the same bug on bugs.ubuntu.com . It
is possible that you have more useful answers from the distribution authors.
