Thanks for the patch: I would say that:
- the patch, as we know, hides some other issue deeper in the code related to
KGlobal or so;
- on the other side, this is about the kdelibs4 world and I suspect you want to
move to Qt5, where that specific code changed, so a specific fix should be most
likely redone;
- I would suggest then to submit the patch through reviewboard, producs
kdelibs, branch KDE/4.14, and see if it's worth to forward-port it to the
relevant part of Frameworks (which I have no idea if it works or not).
If kdelibs4 MacOSX applications works with this patch, and given that it
affects only Mac codepaths, I suspect it won't be difficult to have it in.
