Since this is serving as a sort of "intro to KDE" doc, I thought it
would be good to a.) show off several different basic KDE apps in the
screenshots and b.) link to their documentation so users can learn
more about these applications if interested.  We could instead link to
e.g. http://kde.org/applications/internet/konqueror/ if that would be
better.

Speaking of that, maybe an overview of applications ala
kde.org/applications would be good for buildingblocks?  Generating
docbook for it from the json files in
trunk/www/sites/www/applications/apps/ would be pretty easy.
