I see. I'll just use comments I can sed then. :-)

I'm really trying to reduce the amount of manual labor involved in
keeping the kwrite & kate docs in sync. The programmer within me dies
a little inside when a lot of copying and pasting is required.
Especially considering that it's not just me doing it, hundreds of
translators have to do so as well.

Do you think it would be helpful if I made a script available that
allowed translators to fill in a translation for the power user mode
thing and did the copying and substitution automatically? (Perhaps
changing it to use a sentence instead of a parenthetical expression.
Something tells me there exists a language which doesn't have an
analog for that. :-) If translators watch diffs, I could split up my
commits such that what's gets caught by said script would be obvious
too.

Or perhaps I'm overthinking things and should just leave you all to
your own devices. ;-)
