[kde-doc-english] calculations

hello--
I am trying to work out how to make a cell that I can add several different
number variables into and have it accumulate into another cell. It would be
akin to a grocery cheek-out receipt where you buy several items and then
they get totalled. I have tried everything I can think of or know how to do
and wondered if you could give me some instruction or at least tell me which
pages I should be looking at in the manual.
