[kde-doc-english] Troubles

Hi
I am a newbie to KDE
My first go-round I deleted the panel (taskbar) from the desktop.
No I can't figure out how to get it back.
I'd also like to know how to set preferences ie: evolution email instead
of kmail and so on.
Replies from someone (preferably some who can talk newbie) would result
in me further honouring the Elder Gods
