Some of those things aren't part of KDE - they are base system things that KDE 
is built on.

A quick google search showed 
http://docs.kde.org/kde3/en/kdebase/userguide/index.html

That should also be installed on your system, and you should be able to access 
it from the khelpcenter application (look for a lifering icon).
