Firstly, welcome to the team! It's good to have you on board.

Keeping up-to-date with development versions of KDE isn't always necessary to 
write documentation, so don't worry about that.

One thing that comes to mind for which we don't require development versions 
is KOffice. If you have the latest stable version, you've got all you need to 
write for KOffice. If you're interested in writing for any of the KOffice 
apps, get back to us here at kde-doc-english at kde.org, as there are some 
people already working on it who can point you in the right direction.

One third-party app that I'm aware of which needs some help with documentation 
is Apollon, a client for the giFT file-sharing program. If you're interested 
in that, I can put you in touch with the author.

Of course, if none of that piques your interest, get in touch, and we can 
certainly find something else.
