Yes, putting all common stuff into one place is of course better.

"in textual form": write something like "for instructions on obtaining and 
installing KSpread see section ... in the KOffice manual which can be found 
at ..."

agree, these entries should be added - anyone knows if it's possible to link 
into sections of a manual from an application?
