I wouldn't worry too much about that.  It only went from heated to
outright problematic when it got brigaded by outsiders.

You will get some disagreement and some heat discussing this, but
that's ok. It's needed.
We know there are some people are super for LLMs, some super against.
We can't solve that by excluding them from a conversation. Saying "we
workshopped this without you" is definitely not going to help!

I think we as developers can have that discussion responsibly.
Especially if we can find some impartial moderators to keep people in
check.
