[kde-de] KDE 3.0.1 -Start

Hallo allerseits, Unvermögen läßt grüßen :-)

Ich habe hier eine Libranet 2.0 Installation und mir von der der Linux-Tag 
Tagungs CD-ROM die KDE 3.0.1 deb-Pakete installiert und zwar exakt gemäß
der mitgelieferten -nachfolgend abgebildeten- Empfehlung (nämlich 
Parallelinstallation zur vorhandenen KDE 2.2.2 Umgebung:

	Severity: Medium (does not affect operation of KDE3 only KDE 2.2.2 possibly)

	Description: There is a new potential issue with not being able to go back 		
	to KDE 2.2.2 after installing these .deb files...be aware of this issue 					
	before installing as I investigate further!!! Thanks to craz-home on 
           #debian-kde for reporting this issue.

 	Resolution: Thanks to jasonmc of #debian-kde for this solution. Instead of 	
	using dpkg -i on each package just use dpkg -x to extract all the packages 
            to a temporary directory and then copy them over to /opt/kde3 and
            all other info for running KDE 2.x.x and KDE 3.0.0 side by side
            will still apply.

Ebenfalls lt. mitgelieferter Empfehlung habe ich alsdann noch folgende 
Einträge in meiner /etc/profile gemacht:	

	Instructions to start KDE3

	Commands to run KDE3 while KDE2.x.x is installed as the default:

	debian:~# export KDEHOME=$HOME/.kde3

	debian:~# export KDEDIR=/opt/kde3

	debian:~# export PATH=/opt/kde3/bin:$PATH

	debian:~# export PREFERRED=/opt/kde3/bin/startkde


Soweit so gut, nur wie starte ich jetzt KDE3 ?

startx kde bzw. startx kde3 funktioniert nicht (X-server startet überhaupt 
nicht)
Ein "startx /opt/kde3/bin/startkde" startet zwar KDE , aber leider "nur" 
wieder KDE 2.2 .

Kann mir jemand helfen ??
