hi there!

attached two mini patches which at least make sure the behaviour
of console/gui apps is the same (no extra console window for console
apps).  anyway using it leads to a crash, this time at the same point
of code for gui/console apps.

unfortunately i compiled th -release version, so currently can't do
more, maybe later...
