examples/qapplication rendering problem

 Hello,

I'm wondering if qapplication.exe (from the set of examples) work for you?
For me, puting the cursor inside existing text and typing new text doesn't
work: the new text is not shown and the display becomes kind of
garbled, looking like there's a rendering problem.

I'm also seeing the same thing in my own app in an almost vanilla 
QTextEdit in richedit mode.
Any ideas?

I'm using qt-win-free-3.3.3-2005-02-25-src.tar.bz2 with mingw under w2k.
