Hello,

I have a problem while strating KDE :

I installed the KDE packages on cygwin without problems and rebased all .dll files and all is correct. But when I try to start KDE (kdeinit +kicker &) as described in the script I have the following error message :

$       6 [main] ? 3336 cygheap_fixup_in_child: Couldn't reserve 9891792 bytes of space for cygwin's heap (0x617C0000 <0xAD0000>) in child, Win32 error 487
c:\Cygwin\opt\kde3.4\bin\kdeinit.exe (3336): *** m.AllocationBase 0x0, m.BaseAddress 0x617C0000, m.RegionSize 0x140000, m.State 0x10000

I understand that the m.BaseAddress is the same as rebase option (0x61000000).
How can I reduce the expected memory free that cygwin try to reserve ? Do I reduce the Base Address and rebase all .dll files ?

Thanks for your help

Regards
