Do you know the 80/20 rule ?

You can reach 80% of the goal into 20% of the time, for the remaining stuff you
need 80% (because the needed efforts will be grow more and more), so multiply
the current used time with 5 and you can estimate the whole time needed for the
port completeness. I may fail with this assumption and you may be currently at a
90% level so you have to multiply with 2 or 3, but let us hear what Chris say to
this.

This the way, how such projects work. Someone start something on which others
will build up and so on.
Somebody has build kde and someone has build cygwin and xfree, which I have used
to buil what you see.
You are going to port this lib, on which other people will build up kde
applications ... .
